Our party of three couples, a baby and a toddler found this the perfect base for exploring Wells and surrounds without a car. The accommodation was just right and lots of useful local resources were provided, including an OS Explorer map and cards giving free admission to historic attractions. The bus to and from Bristol stops nearby (at the end of College Road), and there's a children's playground 5 minutes' walk away (down the passage near Budgens, just east of St Thomas Church). Cathedral View is a lovely home with great bathroom amenities, a well stocked kitchen and was so clean and comfortable. Bedrooms were larger than expected. It was very close to the centre of Wells which made it easy to explore the city. There were great tips, walking maps etc in the folders which were really useful. Communication with Suzanne prior to the trip was always very timely and positive. We appreciated the COVID 19 safety measures that really gave us peace of mind!
We had a lovely weekend in Wells. The house is very spacious and extremely well kitted out. The children enjoyed the DVD selection. It was super clean and had everything to make the stay fantastic!
This is a really nice property-very spacious, beautifully appointed and very well equipped-home from home. Our family group of two children and four adults were very comfortable here especially with the bedrooms and bathrooms. It is a warm house impeccably presented and in a very quiet part of the city. It is an easy flat walk to the cathedral and town centre. Communication with Suzanne was easy and straightforward. We can highly recommend this house without reservation and would happily re-visit.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous town house. It was really clean and spacious and perfectly located to enjoy all that Wells has to offer, there was no need to use the car. We will definitely be returning!
